The Michael Vicktory Project
Vernon Davis NFL Draft Party
The Water Club
Southwest Washington, DC
April 24, 2010
Tons of people partied into the early morning as they celebrated at the Michael Vicktory Project and Vernon Davis NFL Draft Party. Local and visiting celebrities were everywhere at this posh and sexy event, held at Washington, DC’s Water Club. In addition to Vick and Davis enjoying the venue, the celebrity roster included top defensive Darnell Dockett of the Arizona Cardinals, retired NFL Players Association’s leader Cornelius Bennett, Antoine Bethea of the Indianapolis Colts, Rudy Gay of Memphis Grizzlies, and DC’s own Jeannie Jones of WKYS. Other notable guests were Kal Ross, Vick’s manager, Attorney Billy Martin, and NFL Players Association Attorney Teri Patterson.
Late night patrons continued to pour into the party until its 3am closing. An exciting and unbreathable groove jumped off on the upper level dance floor as guests danced, bounced, and popped bottles to hip hop, rap, and R&B while videos played on the large flat screen. Privy guests and visitors enjoyed a flowing cash bar in the Sky Club. Patrons rolled their hips and swayed to the beats of reggae music on the lower level. The Water club overflowed with guests in every sexy lounge spot available. This event was hosted by Vernon Davis of the San Francisco 49ers, presented by Cheeky Sasso Ent, Akil Waite Events, Bobby Patterson, and Kal Ross.
Michael Vick’s successful comeback is evident by his performance and paycheck with the Philadelphia Eagles. The ex-Atlanta Falcon quarterback Vick recently earned a $1.5 million roster bonus from the Eagles, retaining his rights for 2010. The Michael Vick Project 10-part series aired on BET, highlighting his return to freedom after being strongly sentenced for 23 months due to illegal dog fighting activities in Virginia.
