R&B artist Ray J joined the WKYS team in studio to give his personal insight about the pain of being bullied and the power of love that can heal all. Also joining Angie Ange were a host of professionals representing education, alternative behavioral psychology, ministry, and lesbian & gay youth support. As Angie Ange responded to phone calls, tweets, and Facebook messages, young people and adults called in to share their heart wrenching stories on the pain of being bullied. A consensus by the panel revealed that youth are being bullied because of color, status, gender, social class, and orientation. Cyber bullying was the trending topic, with everyone providing insight on how social media has enabled bullying that affects the esteem of everyone from celebrities to youth. As the 2 hour "Turn Up the Volume Against Bullying" discussion closed, vulnerability and empowerment were revealed to heal a generation of those who face being mistreated by others for sometimes no valid reason at all.
