Designers all across the world created an exciting fur story for the Winter 2011-2012 season. Chic and glam wardrobes pieces have arrived for women and men in day wear, evening wear, outerwear, headgear, gloves, purses, totes; even interior décor for the home including throws & pillows. The styles are androgynous, natural, animalistic, have bulky textures with volumes of fur, or a rustic luxury appearance, even when combined with sleek leather or fine to heavy gauged knits. Fur and faux fur is being mixed with lightweight fabrics, leather, suede, feathers, hardware, metallics, sequins, cotton, lace, jersey, and other knits. The design template is to transition day wear into nightwear easily without fuss – resulting in sleek looks for an exotic glam look. Premiere fur designers this season are Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Gareth Pugh, Roberto Cavalli, Missoni, Sonia Rykel, Etro, John Galliano, Barbara Bui, and many more.

Rashida, a former Miss District of Columbia, performed her Debut Single"There's No One Else Like You" for a gracious crowd of industry insiders, friends, and family. Amongst her many other outstanding achievements, Rashida is known as the only harpist band member for Lady Gaga's international tour "Monster's Ball".
